12 травня 2017 року в Українському гуманітарному ліцеї відбулася подія, цікава для всіх учнів, хто вивчає англійську мову, – скайп-конференція з учнями Американського коледжу м. Кушадаси, Туреччина. Учні  8 – Б класу (група Щербо Н.Ю.) разом з вчителем обговорили багато цікавих питань з новими друзями: розповіли турецьким дітям про Київ, наш ліцей, життя та звичаї в Україні. Ліцеїсти грамотною англійською мовою вміло підтримували бесіду та цікаво відповідали на запитання учнів з Туреччини. Подібні скайп- конференції є можливістю вдосконалювати рівень іноземної мови та спілкуватися з представниками різних культур (Ільїн І.Ю., вчитель англійської мови).


Всім  нам дуже сподобалось. Ваші ліцеїсти - МОЛOДЦІ! Презентації - ДИВО! Сподіваємось не втратити зв’язок, продовжувати розвивати наші стосунки та побачити Вас та Ваших учнів на «Святі дітей» 23 квітня  наступного року в Туреччині.

Conference with Turkish students was incredible, unimaginable!!! It was great experience to practice English with foreigners. I only have opportunity to practice with Ukrainian people but last lesson gave me a chance. I'm very pleased! If we have one more online conversation, I will try to say more than I said. And I'm waiting for their call. I thought this would be difficult but I even liked it. Personally I think that only speaking can help me to learn English.

On Friday 12th I had the great opportunity to have a conversation with peers from Turkey. I gained interesting experience practicing my English language skills and also I found out lots of new information about such an unique country. The children were very communicable and cheerful, they told a lot about famous country sights, education system and some words about specific for me Turkish cuisine but it was very interesting. I am very thankful for this event that broadened my mind a bit wider and I am very grateful to have a similar conversation once again.
